Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Last updated: 25 May 2026
This statement is made by J & S Allan, trading as RetailsSupp, in line with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. While our annual turnover sits below the £36 million statutory threshold, we publish this statement voluntarily because we believe transparency matters at every size.
Our business
RetailsSupp is a UK online retailer of home and office furniture accessories, based at 33 N End Rd, Stromness, Orkney Islands KW16 3AG, United Kingdom. Our supply chain is small and consists primarily of UK and EU manufacturers and distributors.
Our policies
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We expect all suppliers to:
- Comply fully with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and equivalent law in their jurisdiction.
- Pay at least the legal minimum wage and respect working-hour limits.
- Allow workers to leave their employment freely.
- Not retain identity documents or charge recruitment fees.
- Allow our reasonable audit and inspection on request.
Risk assessment
Our highest-risk categories are imported textiles and assembly labour. We mitigate this by sourcing primarily from UK and EU suppliers with published codes of conduct, and by requesting due-diligence statements from new suppliers before onboarding.
Reporting concerns
Anyone (employee, supplier, customer or member of the public) who suspects modern slavery in our operation or supply chain should email support@retailssupp.com or call the UK Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
