Out of Stock Policy
What happens if an item is sold out — or sells out between you adding it to your basket and completing checkout.
When an item is shown out of stock
Out-of-stock items show clearly on the product page with a “Notify me when back in stock” button. Enter your email and we’ll send you a single message when the item is available again — no other marketing attached.
When an item sells out during checkout
WooCommerce updates stock levels at the moment of order. If a competing customer completed checkout before you, the item may show as unavailable when you submit payment. In that case:
- The order does not go through and you are not charged.
- You can remove the unavailable item and complete checkout with the rest of your basket.
When we discover an item is out of stock after you ordered
This is rare but can happen if our stock count is briefly out of sync. If it does:
- We email you within 1 working day to explain.
- You can choose: wait for the restock (with an estimated date), swap for an alternative, or get a full refund.
- Refunds in this situation are processed within 3 working days.
Restock timings
Typical restock windows are 2–4 weeks depending on supplier. Some seasonal items may not return until the next season.
Discontinued items
If a product is discontinued, we mark it on the product page and remove it from the catalogue. Back-in-stock notifications for discontinued items are not sent.
Pre-orders
We do not currently accept pre-orders for out-of-stock items. Payment is taken only when stock is confirmed.
