Subject Access Request (SAR)
Last updated: 25 May 2026
You have the right to ask us for a copy of all personal data we hold about you, free of charge, under Article 15 of the UK GDPR.
How to submit a SAR
- Email privacy@retailssupp.com from your registered email address.
- Use the subject line Subject Access Request.
- Tell us what data you want — all of it, or a specific category (e.g. order history, marketing data, support correspondence).
- If we cannot identify you from the email alone, we may ask for verification (one form of ID showing name and address).
What you’ll receive
- Confirmation of whether we process your personal data.
- A copy of the personal data we hold.
- The purposes of processing and the legal basis.
- The categories of data processed.
- The recipients with whom we share data.
- The retention period (or the criteria we use to set it).
- Information on your other UK GDPR rights and how to complain to the ICO.
We provide the data in a commonly used electronic format (PDF, CSV) within 1 calendar month of receiving a valid request.
Fee
SARs are free. We may charge a reasonable administrative fee only for requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive, or for additional copies — we will tell you in advance if this applies.
Refusal
We may refuse a request that is manifestly unfounded or excessive. If we refuse, we will explain why and remind you of your right to complain to the ICO.
Third-party data
If your data includes information about another identifiable person, we may redact that information or withhold it if disclosure would be unfair to them.
